The Sky Tower changes its colors depending on the season, some promoting causes or events that happen in Auckland.
For Example:
If it's blue is because of the Auckland Blues Rugby Franchise.
Pink because of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Red and green for Christmas.
Red and gold for Chinese New Year.
Blue and green for Starship Children's Foundation cause.
Orange because of the Auckland Festival.
Green and purple for the Auckland Cup.
If it's Saint Patrick Day is green.
Red it's for The American Cup.
Green, red and white for the Rally New Zealand.
It's golden for the New Zealand Olympians.
And it's blue and red for the Matariki.
